A private pagefor what numbers miss.
The Journal is a private place to write about money in your own words: what you noticed, what you felt, what you are not ready to say out loud. It is private by default and stays that way.
Some things are easier to write than to tap.
Check-ins capture how you feel in five choices. Sometimes that is too few. The Journal is for the longer version: a paragraph about a conversation with family, a worry that has been circling, a small win you want to remember.
There are no prompts you must answer, no streaks and no score for writing. It is a page, and it is yours.
What I noticed this week
I keep telling myself the small things do not count. Looking at the week, they were most of it. I do not feel bad about it. I feel curious.
Private, by design.
Not other users, not the community
Journal entries are never shown to other people and never appear in Community.
A separate switch
Journal content has its own permission. If it is off, Fino does not see your notes. If you turn it on, it can reflect with fuller context, and you can turn it off again.
Not now, not later
Your private writing is not used for advertising, profiling or promotion of any kind.
Entry by entry, or all at once
Delete any note whenever you like. Deleting your account deletes your journal along with it.
A few ways to begin.
You can ignore every one of these. They are only here for the blank-page days.
- After a regret flag
If you marked an entry as regret in the Ledger, write two lines about what the day was like. The link between feeling and spending shows up fast.
- After the Sunday look back
Capture the one thing you want to remember about the week before it fades.
- Before a bigger decision
Write what you are hoping for and what you are afraid of. Many decisions get clearer on the page.
- On a good day
Note what is going well, so you can recognise it later when things feel less steady.
Writing can help you notice your own patterns, but the Journal is not counselling or clinical care, and Fino is not a therapist. If things feel heavy, Tele-MANAS (14416) and KIRAN (1800-599-0019) are free and open any time.
