Deletion and export
How to delete entries or your account, and how to export your data.

These are commitments for launch, and we will not report success we have not achieved. If part of a deletion or export fails, we tell you.
Delete entries
Remove single check-ins, reflections or entries at any time.
Delete your account
Your account closes, and your personal data is queued for deletion. After 30 days it is erased from live systems, and from backups on their next rotation.
A public deletion page
It will work without signing in to the app, so you can ask for deletion even if you no longer have it installed. Until it is live, email privacy@thefingene.com from the address you signed up with, with “Delete my account” in the subject, and we will handle it on the same terms.
What survives
Payment and invoice records kept for 8 years for tax law, and anonymised statistics that cannot identify you.
Export
A machine-readable copy of your account, Scan answers, check-ins, reflections, entries and insights, delivered within 7 days.
Withdrawing a permission
When you switch off a permission under Your data, you choose whether to keep what was already collected or purge it. Purging asks you to type DELETE. See Your data.
