Getting started

Fingene is a behavioural finance companion. It learns how you feel when you spend, and shows you the patterns in everyday words. It is educational and never gives investment advice.

Fingene opens as a web app, so you use it in your phone or laptop browser, with nothing to install. A native Android app is planned for 17 November 2026.

Take the Scan. It takes about five minutes, asks for no bank login, and ends with your Gene. After that you can start adding check-ins and entries, at whatever pace suits you.

No. The Scan uses only your answers, and the Ledger works with entries you add by hand, files you import or messages you choose to paste.

Yes. At the end of the Scan you can choose to start with sample data. A banner always tells you when you are looking at a sample.
