Privacy and data

Only what the product needs: your account details, your Scan answers, and whatever you choose to add, such as check-ins, entries, notes and conversations with Fino. Each optional kind has its own switch.

There are eleven, each covering a kind of data or feature. Each one says what stops working if you turn it off, and you can change any of them whenever you like. See Your data for the full list.

It is read once to extract the amount, merchant and date, and the original text is discarded within 24 hours.

Only if you opt in, and only to look for order confirmations and bank alerts. It is off until you switch it on, and you can switch it off again.

No. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Only you. They are not shown to other users, and Fino sees your journal only if you switch that on.

In Settings you can delete individual entries or your whole account. A public deletion request page that works without opening the app is part of the launch commitments. See Deletion and export.

Yes. You can export your data from Settings, and the Privacy policy sets out the time we commit to.

While your account is active, and for 30 days after deletion. Payment records are kept for 8 years because tax law requires it. See the Privacy policy for the table.
